stone as the main colors.
The red Jambhala, also known as "Zambala Marpo" in Tibetan, is a deity of wealth in
Tibetan Buddhism. He is depicted with a red body, adorned with various treasures, and
a five-buddha crown on his head. With one face and two arms, he has three eyes and is
seated on a lotus throne in a relaxed posture. As a deity of wealth, he is believed to have
the power to attract prosperity, good fortune, and auspiciousness. In particular, he is
associated with the acquisition of wealth and material possessions, as well as the ability to
attract people, food, and other resources. The red color of his skin is associated with the
element of fire, and he is said to be primarily associated with the southern direction. As a
highly revered deity in the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, Red Jambhala is consid
ered to be a powerful and beneficent deity who can help practitioners achieve their worldly
and spiritual goals.
