NYC Scripture Copying Meditation | 纽约静心抄经体验

Join us for a quiet hour of mindful scripture copying in the heart of New York.

At BTSAN PO, we invite participants to slow down through the traditional practice of copying Chinese scriptures. Through focused writing and contemplation, this experience offers a peaceful pause from the pace of daily life.

No prior experience is required.

All scripture sheets and writing materials will be provided.

Different scriptures may be available depending on the session, including selections such as the Heart Sutra, Great Compassion Mantra, Mangala Sutta, and other traditional texts.

Following the practice, participants are welcome to stay for tea and conversation. Guests are also invited to explore BTSAN PO's Himalayan cultural space, including Thangka art, Himalayan jewelry, and traditional handicrafts on display.

纽约静心抄经体验

在纽约第五大道的 BTSAN PO，我们邀请大家透过抄写经文的方式，放慢脚步，在书写之间感受片刻宁静。

活动采用中文经文临摹形式，无需书法基础，也无需任何相关经验。

现场将提供完整抄经材料，包括经文纸张及书写工具。

每期所提供的经文可能有所不同，包括《心经》、《大悲咒》、《吉祥经》等传统经文。

活动结束后，大家也可以一起喝茶交流，并参观 BTSAN PO 喜马拉雅文化空间，欣赏唐卡作品、喜马拉雅饰品及传统手工艺作品。

Important Information & Ticket Policy

• Advance registration is required.

• Seating is limited to 4 participants per session.

• Please arrive on time. To maintain a quiet and focused environment, late arrivals may not be admitted once the session has begun.

• All scripture sheets and writing materials will be provided.

• Participants will be copying traditional Chinese scriptures through guided tracing and mindful writing.

• This experience is conducted using Chinese scriptures and is best suited for participants who can recognize and follow Chinese characters.

• No prior calligraphy or scripture-copying experience is required.

• Following the practice, participants are welcome to stay for tea and conversation and explore BTSAN PO's Himalayan cultural space.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable.

• No-shows are non-refundable.

• Tickets may be transferred to another person with advance notice.

• If BTSAN PO cancels a session, participants will receive a full refund.

Photography & Media

• BTSAN PO may photograph or record portions of the event for documentation and promotional purposes.

• Event photos may be shared with participants after the session.

• Selected photos and videos may be used on BTSAN PO's website, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, WeChat Moments, newsletters, or other promotional materials.

• If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please notify BTSAN PO staff before the session begins. We will make every reasonable effort to avoid capturing or publishing identifiable images of you.

• By registering for this event, participants acknowledge and agree to the above policies.

退改政策

• 活动开始前 24 小时内取消，不予退款。

• 未到场（No Show）不予退款。

• 如无法参加，可提前联系我们将名额转让给他人。

• 如因 BTSAN PO 原因取消活动，将全额退款。

活动拍摄说明

• BTSAN PO 可能会对活动进行拍照或录像，用于活动记录及宣传用途。

• 活动结束后，部分照片将分享给参与者留作纪念。

• 部分照片或视频可能发布于 BTSAN PO 官网、Instagram、小红书、微信朋友圈及其他宣传渠道。

• 如您不希望出镜，请于活动开始前提前告知工作人员。我们将尽可能避免拍摄或发布包含您正面可识别形象的照片或视频。
